Okay, so this is my first drawing I have done in advanced art class at school. And just in case, no, I did not get ANY help AT ALL in the making of this drawing. I did it all by myself. The reason that this drawing is a lot better than anything else in my gallery is because: a) I'm A LOT better when I have a reference, when I draw something from my mind, it horribly sucks. b) It was with pastels, which could be called my "art territory". c) I could already draw like this since 4 years ago (well, I wasn't as good as I am now back then).
Anyway, this is a Ceiba in Puerto Rico, apparently more than 600 years old. I kind of messed up on the sky and the guy's face looks too big. Meh, whatever... Time: It took me about 2 weeks of classes, so I guess in total it would be about 7 hours or maybe a little more. Hope you like it and please comment! |
